Experience:

Cindy has 30 years of extensive teaching experience in a wide array of dance styles to ages 18 months to adult. She has taught at many dance studios, creative movement/gymnastics centers and daycare/after school programs.

As co-owner, Cindy has taught at the studio for 19 years and is responsible for the creation of the Romp and Roll and Twinkle Toes classes. She also teaches hip-hop at the Tobin School in Natick and the Martha Jones School in Westwood.

Besides teaching dance, Cindy works as a DJ and Party Facilitator, entertaining children and adults throughout the New England area.

During college, Cindy had the pleasure to dance with many master teachers from different companies across the country. Her most memorable class was tap dancing with Gregory Hines at Dean College.

Cindy also enjoyed performing as a back-up dancer for local R&B and Hip-Hop artists from 1993-1995 and was the choreographer for the pop singing group Bon Voyager.

Favorite Performance with TDF:

Although I have loved each and every dance performance, my favorite would have to be ringing in the New Year at Quincy’s First Night celebration each year from 1998-2004.

Why I love to teach dance:

Dance helped me bring out my love, passion, creativity, self-confidence and most of all happiness. I love to be able to pass on that same joy and passion to the next generation of dancers.
